Mama C is eternally devoted to taking you on an excursion into sound. Throughout this journey you will scour the deepest, darkest depths of the audio wave conjured by both your imagination and hers alike. This DJ is blessed with the insight to know exactly what you want to hear. Having grown up on industrial music, Celeste was always partial to the darker, more driving rhythms. It was nearly a decade ago Mama C began her chaotic quest behind the decks establishing a true devotion to the fusion of two heavy electronic genres: hardcore/gabber and drum’n’bass jungle. She simply refused to “just pick one” as she was often advised to. Instead she coined a brand new style that was simultaneously psychotic and nasty, energetic but with a morbid twist. The reaction was immense. End result: mayhem for the masses. Presently, Mama C has assimilated into the realm of the CDJ which has literally taken her back to her roots. As we speak she is wholeheartedly delving into the all encompassing “industrial/darkwave/EBM” spectrum. She now has multiple residencies and an extraordinarily versatile DJ resume under her belt which including straight up industrial nights, rave hybrids, infamous fetish parties, even a wedding and ultimately the future 2010 Annual Gothic Cruise. Inevitably, you will be hearing some original masterpieces from Ms. C so keep those curious ears open. They shall be graced with an aural scheme from a higher level that hasn’t even been invented yet. Mama C has gracefully grown into a timeless classic DJ. Her sets will always draw out the freaks from the shadows of the dance-floor. The judge of the genre becomes obsolete.
